At the inspection on 21 January 2026, we found the provider had made the following improvements:

The practice had arrangements to ensure the safety of the X-ray equipment and the required radiation protection information was available. This included quality assurance checks of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) equipment.

The practice managed fire safety well, and fire exits were clear and well signposted. A fire risk assessment had been carried out and a further assessment planned following completion of building work.

The practice had systems for appropriate and safe management of medicines. The practice had systems for prescribing of medicines in line with current guidance. They carried out antimicrobial prescribing audits.

The practice had a recruitment policy and procedures that reflected relevant legislation, to help them employ suitable staff, including agency or locum staff.

The practice ensured clinical staff were qualified, registered with the General Dental Council and had appropriate professional indemnity cover.

The practice completed infection prevention and control audits in line with current guidance.

The practice had systems and processes for learning, quality assurance and continuous improvement. This included undertaking audits according to recognised guidance.

Concerns and complaints were responded to appropriately, and outcomes were discussed to share learning and for improvement.
