Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Feedback from patients indicated that many patients arrived at the practice feeling nervous but were immediately put at ease after meeting their dentist. Patients told us they felt listened to and that their concerns were taken seriously. They also reported that treatment options were openly discussed, allowing them to feel involved in decisions about their care.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey that ranged from January – August 2026. We reviewed a total of 19 responses of which 86% of respondents felt the practice provided good dental care. Further feedback from the patient survey indicated that patients wanted more seating options available in the waiting area which the practiced then implemented.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
