Our view of the service
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 14 September 2026.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control, although some improvements were identified during the inspection.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
The practice had recruitment procedures that reflected current legislation; however, improvements were needed to ensure all agency staff had documented inductions and that staff medical histories were consistently obtained and maintained.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
The practice is in Wallingford and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice was not step-free; however, a portable ramp was available for patients who required it, and a handrail had recently been installed to improve access.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 5 staff, of which there were 2 dentists and 3 dental nurses. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to all staff present during the inspection.
