Our view of the service
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 24 April 2025.
We found the practice had met regulations.
Infection control procedures in place were effective.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our inspection, could access care, support and treatment when required.
We noted innovative approaches to providing person-centred care. In particular, their proactive approach to improving oral health in the local area. They participated in school-based supervised tooth brushing programmes that incorporate clinical dental assessments, applications of fluoride varnish, oral health education and ensuring those identified as needing care through their school visits could access this.
They also created additional resources to raise awareness of other healthcare issues. For example, to support patients to recognise and act on the early signs of skin cancer.
The practice is in Beverley, in the East Riding of Yorkshire and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice. The practice is located in a small shopping precinct with car parking near the practice.

We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, 2 dental nurses, 2 receptionists and the practice manager.
