During a routine inspection

When we visited Rosehill Dental Practice we spoke to the people who used the service as well as the dentists and the staff who worked there. People told us that they were well informed by the practice on all aspects of their treatment and that this enabled them to exercise choice about their care when they needed to. People told us that 'the level of care is very good' and that 'I rang up last night and I was able to get an appointment today'. People told us that the staff were friendly and this was confirmed by the way that we saw them talking to people. People told us that they were very happy with the treatment offered by Rosehill Dental Practice and had no concerns about attending the practice.

When we talked to staff we found that most had worked at the practice for some years. Staff said that they felt that this had helped them to 'build up a good rapport with the people who used the service'. When we looked at staff records we saw that they had received appropriate training such as in mental capacity and safeguarding and where appropriate were able to maintain their continuous professional development.
