Kindness, compassion and dignity
Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and told us how they supported patients within the practice. This was reflected in the patient feedback received. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. One patient told us, “I was so impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff as well as how caring and attentive [the principal dentist] was. I cannot say enough good things about them, they were so gentle and caring I could not feel any pain while they were treating my damaged teeth.” Another patient said, “I had an appointment with [the specialist endodontist] and all I can say is I am beyond impressed. The whole experience was amazing, and my treatment turned out brilliant, it truly surpassed my expectations!! The whole team were lovely as well as the receptionists, would definitely recommend to a friend!”
Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. One patient said, “I had a very positive experience at Swedish Smile Clinic. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were polite, professional, and efficient. The check-in process was smooth, and I did not experience long waiting times.”
Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. One patient said, “The staff were friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Excellent care and a very welcoming environment - highly recommend.”
Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected. “Swedish Smile Clinic is genuinely one of the best dental clinics I’ve been to. From the moment I arrived, the whole team was professional, organised, and very friendly. They explained everything clearly and you can tell they really know what they’re doing. The clinic has a calm atmosphere and they make you feel comfortable throughout the visit, which makes a big difference if you’re normally nervous about dental appointments.”
We reviewed a patient survey which had been completed in 2025. Following feedback from the survey, appointment reminders were now sent to all patients to improve the overall patient experience.
People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported. They frequently met up for team bonding sessions, sports day activities and dinners.
The principal dentist was actively involved in the community, providing oral health education to children within a local nursery and helping local senior school students prepare for university placements to study medicine or dentistry. They also provided their services helping local homeless charities.
