Our view of the service
We carried out this assessment as the service had not been assessed since it was registered in January 2024 and was therefore unrated. The Harborne Hospital is part of the HCA Healthcare UK. The hospital is a private hospital and offers the following services, treatment of disease, disorder or injury, diagnostic and screening procedures, surgical procedures, management of supply of blood and blood derived products and family planning to adults of aged 18 years and above, the hospital does not offer treatment to children.
We assessed all quality statements across the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions and have combined the scores for these areas to give an overall rating.
People's experience of this service
Patients and any family or carers with them were all positive about the staff treating them with warmth and kindness and providing effective care and treatment. People said they did not feel anxious about raising concerns. They said they were seen quickly and told us they felt cared for, listened to, and fully informed of the treatment options.
Records showed patients were seen promptly, and they felt staff were on hand if they needed them for help or support. Patients said they did not feel anxious about raising concerns.
Staff worked collaboratively with patients assessing risk and develop personalised care and treatment approaches.
Patients experienced a non-judgmental approach to their care and were treated in an inclusive and equitable manner.
