Our view of the service
SRP Homecare Ltd is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people within their own homes. At the time of this inspection, 3 people were actively receiving support from SRP Homecare Ltd. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only regulates the personal care element of the service, specifically support with personal hygiene and eating, though any wider social care provided is also considered during the process.
As this was the service's 1st inspection, we conducted a comprehensive review. The assessment began on 9 September 2026, included an announced on-site visit on 14 September 2026, and concluded following off-site assessments on 7 October 2026. Over this period, we assessed 34 quality statements across 5 key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led.
To evaluate SRP Homecare Ltd, we spoke with care workers, administrative staff, and the management team. We also reviewed people’s care records and various documents relating to the overall management of the service.
We found that day-to-day care was managed effectively and rooted in open, inclusive values that built trust with people they supported. Systems were in place to ensure people received the care and support they needed; staff demonstrated a strong understanding of the individuals they supported and respected their personal choices and wishes. Additionally, the provider understood safeguarding policies and procedures, which helped protect people from abuse or avoidable harm. Staff also felt well-supported through regular training and supervision sessions.
A review of the service's governance showed that management oversight structures and audit templates were in place. However, systems to check the quality of care needed to improve to ensure they were fully robust and capable of driving continuous service improvement. Reassuringly, the leadership team proved highly responsive to our findings. The registered manager took immediate responsibility for all concerns raised during the inspection process, demonstrating a proactive, positive attitude and a clear commitment to implementing necessary corrective actions promptly.
