People's experience of this service
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We reviewed patient feedback we received, and feedback routinely obtained by the practice. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.
Patients described their experience as positive, praising the practice for its welcoming and professional approach. Comments highlighted the friendliness and kindness of staff, with many saying they felt comfortable, respected, and well cared for throughout their visits. The reception team and dental practitioners were frequently recognised for their excellent customer service, efficiency, and professionalism.
Patients also valued the smooth running of appointments, clear communication, and the practice's willingness to accommodate their needs. One patient noted that the supportive atmosphere had transformed their perception of dental visits, with both them and their family feeling confident and reassured by the care received. Overall, feedback suggested a high level of patient satisfaction with both the quality of treatment and the overall experience provided by the practice.
Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed.
Patients were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care.
Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given.
Patients were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources.
The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
