Our view of the service
We had previously undertaken an on-site inspection on 16 December 2025 under Section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 as part of our regulatory functions.
We found the registered provider was not providing well-led care and was in breach of Regulation 17 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
We undertook a follow up on-site inspection on 13 July 2026.
This inspection was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to confirm that the practice was now meeting legal requirements.
At our follow up inspection, we found the practice had met not regulations.
There was a lack of effective leadership, and not all risks associated with undertaking of regulated activities had been suitably identified and mitigated.
The practice is in Didcot and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, at the rear of the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms of which 2 were in use.
At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 4 staff, of which there was 1 dentist, 1 hygienist, 1 receptionist and a dental nurse who is also the practice manager.
We spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including the provider, 1 dentist, 1 dental nurse and a receptionist.
The provider was notcomplying withRegulation 17 – Good Governance.
