Our view of the service
Higher Park Lodge is a 'care home' that provides care and support to older people living with dementia. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as a single package under one contractual agreement. The service accommodates up to 34 people in one adapted building. On the day of our assessment 32 people were living at the home. We carried out an off site assessment. Activity started on 16 January 2024 and ended on 1 February 2024. We looked at 1 quality statement; Equity in experiences and outcomes. At our last inspection the service was rated good. Following this assessment the service remains rated good.
People's experience of this service
The manager sought the views of people, staff, relatives and visiting healthcare professionals. Action was taken to improve the service where appropriate.
