At this assessment the rating has remained good. This meant people were supported and treated with dignity and respect; and involved as partners in their care.

The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing.

Support plans showed what was important to people and how staff should support them to achieve what they wanted in meaningful ways. During the inspection we saw people were offered choices such as what they wanted to eat and drink, what they wanted to wear and what they wanted to do. Some people were supported to go shopping or help with cleaning tasks. Staff used people’s preferred ways of communicating to encourage and support people to make their own choices. Staff understood when people needed time to process information about the choices they made and supported them accordingly.
