Caring – this means we looked for evidence that the service involved people and treated them with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.

Independence, choice and control
The service promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. Support plans included people’s preferences and choices. They offered guidance for staff how to keep people safe and accept their choices to ensure staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.
