Our view of the service

Health First Surrey is run by Cobham Health Hub Limited and provides private phlebotomy services for patients requiring blood tests. Other services also operate from this location but are not provided by Health First Surrey. The service operates from a site in Cobham, Surrey. The clinic opens Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday sessions. The service is run by the registered manager who is also the only phlebotomist. The service has administrative support, which is provided remotely.

The service is registered with the CQC to provide the regulated activity of diagnostic and screening procedures.

This assessment was a focused, short notice announced inspection to review the progress made against the warning notice and action plan issued following an inspection in September 2025.

This assessment looked at whether the service was safe, responsive and well-led.

The rating for the service has been combined with key questions inspected from the previous inspection for caring and effective.

We found the service had taken actions to address the warning notice and action plan and were no longer in breach of 17 (Good Governance) and 18 (Safe Staffing) and the Warning Notice had been met. However, we found the service was still in breach of Regulation 12 (Safe Care and Treatment).

Health First Surrey was rated requires improvement at our previous inspection in September 2025. At this inspection the overall rating has changed to good.
