Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 4 to 12 May 2025. First Care Supported Ltd is a Domiciliary Care Agency, providing support and personal care to people in their own homes. Staff supported people of varying ages, with different health needs. At the time of our assessment 14 people were receiving support from the service. The service was well led and provided safe support to people. Staff were happy in their roles and were suitably trained to provide effective care to people. The provider was dedicated to providing high quality, individualised care. We received excellent feedback from partners who worked with the service. This is the first assessment of this service, and we found staff were extremely caring and responsive. The service is rated outstanding.
People's experience of this service
People were extremely happy with their care and support. Relatives told us staff supported their loved ones, in line with their preferences, communication needs and religious and cultural needs. A relative said, “Staff are kind and honest. Staff communicate well with [name], they love them. They [staff] are amazing, they need a prize themselves, they are all amazing.” Another relative said, “They [staff]meet the standard of care my relative needs, very caring, always on time and approachable.” Staff arrived on time and stayed for the allocated call times. Staff were flexible and changed call times for people if required and people felt safe receiving support from the staff.
