Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 28 April to 8 May 2026. This service is a care home specialising in the care of people with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions. It can support up to 60 people; at the time of this assessment 46 people were receiving care.
We carried out this assessment to follow up on concerns identified at our previous assessment.
Theproviderwas previously in breach of the legal regulation in relation to safe care and treatment. Improvements were found at this assessment, and theproviderwas no longer in breach of this regulation.
This assessment only looked at parts of the Key Question Safe. The provider had made improvements to practices and processes which supported better outcomes for people.
People's experience of this service
People were supported to manage risks which could impact their health and wellbeing. One person confirmed their health risks were managed well, and they were supported to remain safe when moving from their bed. They confirmed they received their prescribed medicines correctly, as well as being able to request and receive medicines which were prescribed to be taken when they felt they needed them; such as pain relief.
