Our view of the service

We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 10 July 2026.

We found the practice had met regulations.

The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.

Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.

Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

Moria Wong Orthodontics is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.

The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 16 staff, of which there were 1 specialist in children’s jaw surgery and orthodontics (principle orthodontist), 3 dentists, 2 specialist orthodontists in smile design, 1 orthognathic surgeon, 1 specialist in dental sleep medicine, 5 orthodontic therapists, 1 financial manager, 1 receptionist and the practice manager. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 1 dentist, 1 dental nurse, 1 specialist in children’s jaw surgery and orthodontics, 1 receptionist and the practice manager.

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with an audit of the patient survey results from 2025. Positive comments from patients included “a very professional team, dentist explained everything in simple language which I appreciated” and “the dentist explains things to my child directly, not just to me - it makes her feel respected and less anxious”. The practice also reviewed feedback from the patient survey and implemented it; for example, adding the option to have paper or digital forms.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
