Our view of the service

We inspected CGL Sefton on the 5 and 6 May 2026. This is the first inspection of this service since it was registered with CQC in May 2022.

CGL Sefton is registered to deliver the regulated activities: diagnostic and screening procedures; and the treatment of disease, disorder or injury. The service had a registered manager at the time of our inspection.

The service was previously delivered by a different provider under the name Ambition Sefton North (Church Street). That service was inspected in June 2017 and was rated as good.

At this inspection we inspected the service’s assessment service group of community-based substance misuse services.

We rated the service as good.
