We found this practice was providing well-led care in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

The last electrical installation condition report undertaken in January 2020 was marked as unsatisfactory with an additional report undertaken on 23 November 2021 also marked as unsatisfactory. Following the May 2025 inspection, the provider had ensured all recommended actions had been undertaken with the exception of the replacement of the consumer board. We were assured that following consultation with the National Power, this work would be completed at the end of October 2025 and a new electrical installation report would be undertaken when due.

Servicing of the gas boiler had been undertaken on 22 May 2025.

Staff could access emergency equipment and medicines that were checked in line with national guidance.

An external fire risk assessment was undertaken in June 2025. Actions identified in the report had been reviewed and systems were in place to ensure these were completed. Further to recommendations in the fire safety risk assessment the practice had installed compliant smoke detectors and emergency lighting in all the rooms and exit corridors. In addition, door seals and strips had been replaced where required.

In addition, the practice had recently completed a full refurbishment of the hygienist’s treatment room to ensure this was line with recommended guidelines.
