Our view of the service
Date of assessment 20 March 2024 to 4 April 2024. The assessment was prompted in part due to concerns received about people’s safety. A decision was made for us to assess and examine those risks. Care 2 U Limited provides personal care to older people living in their own homes. There were 92 people using the service at the time of our inspection. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. Risks to people were managed in a safe way, their needs were assessed before they started using this service. These were then reviewed regularly or when changes occurred. Staff were aware of these and knew people well. There were enough staff available to provide support to people, they did this consistently where possible, at the correct time and for the agreed amount of time. There were systems in place to identify concerns and make changes when needed.
People's experience of this service
The feedback we received from people and relatives was positive. People felt they were involved with their care, and this was updated when needed. They felt safe with the staff and were happy with how their care was delivered. People and relatives raised no concerns about call times and were happy with the times and lengths of calls.
