Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 26 August to 23 September 2025. The service is a care at home service, registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of assessment, the service was providing support for 6 people who received the regulated activity of personal care.

The provider, managers, and staff demonstrated an exceptional commitment to delivering person-centred care of the highest standard. People and their families were not just involved but empowered to lead the planning and review of their care, including the taking of positive, well-managed risks that enabled individuals to achieve meaningful goals and fulfilled lives. Care records were not only accurate but dynamic, consistently reflecting people's evolving needs, preferences, and aspirations. Leadership was effective, with a clear vision that placed people’s experiences at the heart of every decision. The provider proactively sought feedback, embraced learning, and embedded improvements in a way that continually enhanced outcomes. Staff were exceptionally well supported, their development and well being were prioritised and celebrated, contributing to a motivated and skilled workforce. The service’s culture was deeply inclusive, transparent, and values-driven, where every person, whether staff, people using the service, or their families, felt genuinely heard, respected, and valued.

People's experience of this service

People using the service could not give us verbal feedback about their care and support, but without exception, their relatives gave extremely positive feedback about the highest level of holistic and person-centred approach they and their family members experienced. They spoke highly of the managers, staff team and quality of care and support they received. Relatives fully appreciated their involvement with 1 person describing it as “leading the care.” Relatives and staff were confident to speak up and raise any concerns. People and relatives told us about the kindness of staff and their commitment to caring for them in the way they wanted. One relative summed this up by saying, “The most important thing is the special bonds [person] has formed with staff. Trust is critical, and they’ve firmly built that.”All the relatives we spoke with gave examples of the outstanding support from the service. They said, “The culture and ethos is at one with our own values as a family” and “it feels just like an extension of my family.”Relatives gave many examples of staff going the extra mile to make sure their family member accessed and experienced the highest levels of support to enrich their lives. People and staff were included, valued and respected. One relative, when asked what could be improved, said, “They are outstanding in every metric, in my opinion. This service should be an exemplar of a first-class standard that should be available to all.The company has earned our trust and has never ever let us down."
