Caring
Staff treated patients with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. Patients were supported to access external opportunities and learn life skills that were meaningful to them. Staff had suitable training to enable them to understand and empathise with individual patients. Patients’ care plans were individually tailored and covered a positive behavioural approach which was pro-active rather than reactive.
