Our view of the service

Date of Assessment: 14 October 2026 to 20 October 2026. This service is a Homecare agency, registered to provide personal care for people living in their own homes in the community. Not everyone who used the service received the regulated activity of personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the assessment there was 1 person receiving regulated activity.

There were safe system in place for the management of medicines. Staff training, recruitment and competency processes were in place to help ensure staff had the skills and knowledge to meet people's needs.

The provider assessed and reviewed people's needs to help ensure care remained personalised. Care records contained clear information about people's health needs, routines and the support they required. People were involved in decisions about their care and support and the provider worked in line with the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

The provider was committed to delivering person-centred care that reflected people's individual needs and preferences. Systems were in place to support staff wellbeing and development. Staff told us they felt valued and supported by the registered manager.

The provider had effective oversight of the service and had established systems to monitor quality and support continual improvement. A range of audits, policies and governance processes were in place to help ensure the service was managed safely and effectively. Staff felt able to raise concerns and were confident they would be listened to. The provider demonstrated a commitment to learning and improving the service to maintain positive outcomes for people.

At our last assessment, the provider was in breach of regulations relating to fit and proper persons, staffing and governance. At this assessment we found sufficient improvements had been made and the provider was no longer in breach of these regulations.
