Our view of the service

St Mungo's Broadway – 2 Hilldrop Road is a care home which is registered to accommodate a maximum of 29 people with mental health needs and needs associated with alcohol misuse.
The service was last assessed in January 2024 and was rated good. At that assessment we found a breach of Regulation 12 in relation to the way the provider was managing people’s medicines.
This responsive assessment was planned to look at whether the provider had made improvements and was managing medicines safely. We found continuing concerns around the management of people's medicines and a breach of regulation in relation to safe care and treatment. Following the assessment the provider told us about the actions they intend to take as a result of our feedback to improve the management of medicines.
We will ask the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.
