At this assessment the rating has remained good. This meant people were supported and treated with dignity and respect; and involved as partners in their care..

Independence, choice and control
The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. People’s care plans detailed how staff should promote people’s independence, choice and control. Staff told us how this worked in practice. One staff member told us, “We involve people in decisions about their care by making sure their views, preferences, and choices are always heard and respected.” People gave us examples of activities they were supported to do in the home such as baking, and how staff supported them to buy things they wanted.
