We checked that people who use this service

How this check was done

We looked at the personal care or treatment records of people who use the service, carried out a visit on 26 February 2013 and 8 March 2013, observed how people were being cared for and talked with people who use the service. We talked with carers and / or family members, talked with staff and talked with commissioners of services.

Our judgement

The provider had appointed a registered manager.

Reasons for our judgement

A manager was appointed by the service provider to manage the service. They went through the Registered Manager application process with CQC and became the registered manager in July 2012.
