The service listened to and understood people’s needs, views and wishes. Staff responded to people’s needs in the moment and acted to minimise any discomfort, concern or distress.

The staff completed a nationally recognised tool, to help recognise if a person is becoming unwell or to monitor the person’s wellbeing following an accident. Staff were able to describe the action they would take if a person’s health was declining. This meant people received prompt medical attention when required.
