Our view of the service

Inspected but not rated.

St Christopher’s Hospice provides hospice care for adults including inpatient care, outpatient clinics and community services. We last inspected the service in December 2019 and the report was published in March 2020. The service was rated outstanding overall.

We carried out an unannounced focused assessment of St Christopher’s Hospice on 24 June 2026, as we had received safeguarding notifications which gave us concerns.

We looked at 4 sets of patient clinical records, and we spoke to 20 members of staff. We reviewed safeguarding incidents and recruitment records.
