During a routine inspection
We spoke with two people about the care and support they received. They told us that they had been closely involved in the arrangements for their care and that the care was generally good. When any issues arose they had been able to address them with the provider, and the provider's response had been positive.
We saw that care plans were clear in regard to people's support needs and had been updated regularly to reflect people's needs as they had changed.
The provider had effective systems in place to safeguard people who used the service. We found that staff and people who used the service understood how to raise concerns about potential abuse.
The provider had effective recruitment and induction procedures in place to ensure that staff were fit for their role.
The provider had spoken regularly to the people they supported and their carers and they had also conducted confidential surveys to identify how services could be improved. People's views were listened to and acted upon.
