The provider listened to and understood people’s needs, views and wishes. Staff responded to people’s needs in the moment and acted to minimise any discomfort, concern or distress. The provider completed a monthly call bell analysis, which were analysed to identify call time responses. Where a call response had exceeded the expected timeframe, this was followed up to ascertain the reason. For example, if it was within a busier period due to staff assisting with mealtimes and if any further action could be taken.
