All Inspections

29 January 2013

During a routine inspection

We spoke with one of the three people who used the service at the time of our inspection. They told us that they enjoyed living at the home. They liked their bedroom which had recently been redecorated according to their choice. They told us that they helped with domestic activities at the home and enjoyed an active social and recreational life outside of the home. One person had been to a day centre. They told us that they had enjoyed their day. Another had stayed at home where they had been supported with activities of their choice.

We found that whilst the people who used the service appeared to be content, the documentation in their care plans was unclear about how their care had been planned and delivered to meet their individual needs. There had been lapses in how people had been supported in relation to their general well being.

29 November 2011

During an inspection in response to concerns

There were four residents living at the service when we visited on 29 November 2011. We spoke with two members of staff to ask for their comments and observations. We spent some time in communal areas of the home with two residents, observing their experience of care and assessing the quality of support they received.
