We checked leaders proactively supported staff and collaborated with partners to deliver care that was safe, integrated, and person-centred, and to reduce inequalities.

This is the first assessment for this service. This key question has been rated inadequate. We identified 2 breaches of the legal regulations. We identified breaches in the legal regulations relating to governance. The service was in breach of legal regulations in relation to good governance as systems and processes to monitor and improve services were not always effective.

The service was in breach of legal regulations in relation to fit and proper persons employed as they did not operate robust recruitment and ongoing monitoring processes to ensure staff had the right qualifications, competence, skills and experience for the work to be performed by them.
