Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. “Nothing is too much trouble and they will always take that extra time to reassure you and you never feel like they are rushing to their next patient”.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. “Every member of the team we encounter is exceptionally polite, attentive and welcoming”.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey. From 102 responses, 100% of patients found the dentist helpful, friendly, easy to understand and good at listening. They would all recommend the clinic to others.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported. “I am not treated any differently from any other member of staff, whether they’re above me or have been here longer, etc. I feel like all the team here respects every member of staff and our hard work doesn’t go unnoticed/unappreciated”.
