During a routine inspection
People told us they were very happy with the care and support they received from the staff. They said they were able to arrange the times of visits with the manager prior to commence using the service.
People who used the service told us prior to using the service the manager visited them and an assessment of their care and support needs was carried out. They agreed a plan of care which they had to sign or their relatives signed if they were unable to sign. People said their plan of care was based on what they told the manager they wanted.
People told us they felt very safe and well looked after by staff. They described their relationships with staff as good. People said they had no need to complain officially as the manager dealt with their concerns to their satisfaction as soon as they were raised.
People told us the staff looked after them as well as they looked after their families. They said they knew whom to contact if they were not happy about anything.
People told us the registered manager regularly visited them and observed and supervised the carers on the job. People said that, they had in the last year nominated staff for recognition in the following categories, Beyond the call of duty and Support worker of the year, because they felt the staff were extremely conscientious and worked well with them and their relatives.
