Our view of the service
We carried out an assessment of Innovate Diagnostics on 17 June 2026 as part of a risk-based assessment under our current methodology. Innovate Diagnostics is an independent clinic providing cardio-respiratory diagnostic testing. Diagnostic services include transthoracic echocardiograms, ambulatory and resting electrocardiograms (ECGs), and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. The service accepts patients referred through the NHS and private sector, as well as people who self-refer. Cardiac diagnostic procedures are carried out and reported by cardiorespiratory physiologists and associate practitioners. The service has been registered with CQC to provide the regulated activity of Diagnostic and Screening Procedures since 6 April 2022. Following this assessment, the service was rated good. The assessment also considered improvements made since the previous inspection in relation to Regulation 17 (Good governance).
People's experience of this service
Patients were positive about the staff treating them with warmth and kindness and providing effective care and treatment. Patients with protected characteristics felt supported. Patients said the staff could be contacted easily and were responded to quite quickly and they all felt they could get assistance if needed. Patients told us they were given time to ask questions about their procedure and staff checked they understood what the tests involved.
