Our view of the service
We carried out an onsite inspection of Alexandra Private Hospital on 6 October 2025. This visit was carried out to follow up on the concerns identified during our previous inspection, where breaches of regulation had been noted.
This inspection focused specifically on the key questions of safe and well-led. Following our review, we rated the service as Good.
The service is no longer in breach of regulations. The service now had a robust process for reporting incidents and effective processes to ensure that all equipment and medication was in date.
People's experience of this service
As the service was not open to patients on the day of our inspection, we were unable to observe any direct patient care however as part of our assessment we did review patient feedback which had been submitted to the service since our previous inspection.
Patient feedback showed that patients found staff to be professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. Patients stated that recovery from surgery had been smooth due to the guidance that staff provided. Patients also reported that the hospital was clean.
