At our last assessment we rated this key question good. At this assessment the rating has remained good. This meant people’s outcomes were consistently good, and people’s feedback confirmed this.

The provider made sure people’s care and treatment was effective by assessing and reviewing their health, care, wellbeing and communication needs with them.

Pre-admission assessments had been completed to ensure the provider could meet the needs of people wanting to move in and had the necessary information to assist with the completion of care plans. We reviewed care records of 3 people and noted information contained within their care plans and risk assessments matched what was documented within the assessment. Care records included detailed ‘about me’ and ‘who I am’ sections, which provided staff with both person-centred information and clear guidance on how the person wanted to be supported.
