During a routine inspection
We found that people were asked to sign their consent to the planned care and support and were involved in decision making about daily routines.
People's needs were assessed and care plans developed. People were supported to see healthcare professionals for routine check-ups. We found that the provider advocated on people's behalf to ensure they received appropriate support and treatment.
We found that people went out most days to local shopping centres, restaurants and parks. People told us that they liked going out and said, "it's very good, I go to the shops and out to eat."
Systems were in place for the safe administration of medicines in the home.
The home was clean and well maintained and checks were taking place to ensure the premises were safe for people.
There was a system in place for responding to complaints about the service.
