People and their relatives spoke highly of the staff and the quality of care they received at Georgian House. People told us they felt safe, were involved in the planning of their care and understood their rights. People said they received good quality care from knowledgeable staff who understood them and their needs well. A person said, “The staff here are like a family. I say that because they will do everything for each other amicably. They will also do cooking and cleaning at the same time as looking after patients. I would say that all the carers are excellent both in their work and their attitude.” We observed staff to be kind, caring and respectful. People were included, listened to and staff consistently interacted positively with them. A relative said, “They [staff] are all very kind and are always very pleased to see you. Watching them with other people, they are all very kind, caring and very patient.'

The staff were knowledgeable and professional. Staff said they would recommend the home to friends and family and one staff member told us, “Yes of course [ would recommend the home to others]. I was thinking of my grandfather to be here. It would be nice here and it would keep him safe.”
