Our view of the service

Integrity Care Ltd is a domiciliary (Care at home) service that was first registered with CQC in June 2021. At the time of our assessment, they were providing care and support to three people in their own homes.

This was the first assessment of the service since they were registered with CQC. Following this assessment, we have rated the service good.

The performance of the service received praise from people whose relatives were receiving care, and the care staff team.

Day-to--day direct care and support was managed effectively, and the provider and care staff team were able to demonstrate their person centred and inclusive values towards the people they were supporting. There was a good degree of trust which also received praise from people whose relatives were being cared for.

There were safe policies and procedures in place to manage medicines, provide safe care in people’s homes and to respond to any emerging events or concern. The provider had effective systems in place to keep the performance of the service under review and to monitor emerging themes. This was in respect of any changes to people’s care and support needs and the ability of the service to provide safe continuing care.

People's experience of this service

People using the service preferred for us to contact their relatives to gather and share their views which we did. Relatives told us that they were positive about the relationships they had with staff and the service and appreciated the quality of care their relative’s received. One person told us on behalf of their relative that, “I feel completely safe with the care staff they are trustworthy and professional.” Another person told us, Yes, I feel very safe when being cared for by the care staff. They treat me with respect, listen to me, and support me in a way that makes me feel comfortable and protected.”

People shared a high degree of trust with how the service staff treated and respected them and with being able to raise either positive or negative experiences of the service if they ever needed to. They believed that staff and the management of the service were approachable and responsive to their needs and wishes and acknowledged their identity and preferences.
