During a routine inspection
People told us they were very satisfied with the quality of the service provided by the agency and felt the support staff were proactive in maintaining their health and wellbeing. One person told us, 'I couldn't cope without my carers. I think they are just wonderful, very respectful and kind.'
People told us they had received a full explanation of the support choices that were available to them and felt they were fully involved in making decisions about their support package.
Although people told us they felt that they received their care and support in a safe manner we found further developments were required to ensure support staff had access to training and appropriate resources to protect people from the risk of abuse.
Records did not fully evidence that people were supported and cared for by staff who had undergone a robust recruitment process.
Although people told us they were encouraged to comment on the quality of service provision, we found that effective quality auditing procedures were not in place to monitor the quality of service provision.
