We reviewed all the information we hold about this provider, carried out a visit on 12/09/2011, observed how people were being cared for, talked to staff and talked to people who use services.

Our judgement

There are sufficient numbers of appropriate staff who provide a service Dr Berk Private GP Surgery.

User experience

People did not comment on this outcome on this occasion.

Other evidence

The service is run by the doctor who is the practice manager and one receptionist. On the day of the visit we observed that there was two patients in the waiting room at different times. The receptionist was comfortably able to book people in, have discussions with the doctor and to take telephone calls. The service appeared to be appropriately staffed for its purpose.
