Our view of the service
Date of Assessment: 19 August 2026 to 2 September 2026. Virtuous Business Solutions Limited is a domiciliary care agency which provides personal care to people in their own homes. The service is also registered to provide supported living, however they were not providing this care at the time of assessment.
CQC only inspect where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks relating to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of our assessment 11 people were in receipt of the regulated activity of personal care.
Risk assessments, care planning, safeguarding processes, medicines management and infection prevention measures were in place to support safe care delivery.
Staff worked collaboratively with people and professionals to manage risks, promote independence and ensure care was safe, responsive and person-centred.
The provider supported people to maintain their health and wellbeing and had effective systems for monitoring care and outcomes. However, improvements were needed to ensure care planning, risk assessments and Mental Capacity Act processes consistently reflected people's needs and were completed in line with legislation.
The provider demonstrated a positive, inclusive and person-centred culture, with leaders who were approachable, supportive and committed to improving outcomes for people.
Staff felt able to raise concerns, contribute to service development and access regular support, training and wellbeing resources.
Governance systems were in place to monitor and improve the quality of care. The provider used feedback, audits, incidents and complaints to drive continuous improvement.
The service worked effectively with people, relatives and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes and deliver responsive, person-centred care.
