Sir Robert Francis QC to step down from CQC Board and as Healthwatch Chair

Sir Robert Francis QC has announced his intention to step down from the Board of CQC, of which he has been a member since 2014.
He will also retire as Chair of Healthwatch England, leaving both roles in November 2022.
The Department of Health and Social Care will start the recruitment process for a new CQC board member and Healthwatch Chair shortly.
