Cancel your manager registration

This service will cancel your registration completely. Only use it if you want to stop being a registered manager for all the activities and locations you manage.

Before you start

You must:

  • be the registered manager
  • have access to the email registered with us

This is because we’ll send you emails to:

  • verify your application
  • update you during the application process

If you cannot access your registered email address contact enquiries@cqc.org.uk.

Cancel your registration

You need to apply to cancel your registration with us. To do this, you will need your:

  • manager ID
  • provider ID

As part of the application process, we’ll send you an email that asks you to:

  • review the details of your application
  • confirm you want to proceed with the cancellation

You must respond within 30 days, or we will not process your application. You will remain registered with us.

CQC could fine you up to £2,500 if you give false or misleading information
