Add a partner - DBS check
When applying to add a partner, the new partner will need to show they have been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The check must have been completed within the last twelve months. It must be an enhanced check. This will include any barring information.
You will need to tell us your CQC-countersigned DBS number as part of the application. You might have another DBS number from a previous job, but a CQC-countersigned DBS number is different. If your DBS number is not countersigned by CQC, we will reject your application.
Do you have an enhanced CQC-countersigned DBS check?
The person applying does not have a CQC-countersigned enhanced DBS check. They will need to apply for one.
The new partner has a CQC-countersigned enhanced DBS check which was issued in the last year. I will be able to provide the CQC-countersigned DBS number as part of the application.
