Chris Usher is Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services.
Chris is a qualified accountant with over 20 years financial experience within national public sector organisations.
Chris has been at CQC since it was established in 2009, operating in senior leadership roles of Director of Finance, Commercial and Workplace for 7 years and Head of Financial Management prior to that for 3 years.
He was appointed as Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services in September 2025 and leads the functions of People, Finance, Legal, Governance and NCSC.
