Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not admit or re-admit any service users to Balmore Country House, 245-7 Loughborough Road, Ruddington, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG11 6NY without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission. This includes privately funded, local authority funded, NHS funded, new, respite, emergency admissions and re-admissions.
The registered provider must conduct a formal audit of the quality and safety of Balmore Country House. This must include medicines management, the environment and infection control measures. Your report should detail any remedial or immediate action taken along with any other action that you plan to take as a result of the findings. Where relevant it should include associated timescales and highlight who will be responsible to ensure that the required improvements are made. This must be provided to the Commission on 16 November 2023. Formal audits should continue every 28 days following this.
The registered provider must provide effective management support at least weekly to the registered manager and clinical lead. Formal support should be in place to allow the registered manager and clinical lead to make the improvements required. An action plan detailing what support is to be provided should be sent to the CQC by 15 November 2023. The support should continue until the provider is fully assured the quality and safety of care has improved.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 76 service users at Balmore Country House.
