We use surveys to find out about the experiences of people who receive care and treatment.

Between October 2016 and March 2017, a questionnaire was sent to 1,250 people who used emergency department services.

Responses were received from 418 people at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

Inpatient

This survey looked at the experiences of 77,850 people who received care at an NHS hospital in July 2016.

Between August 2016 and January 2017, a questionnaire was sent to 1,250 recent inpatients at each trust.

Responses were received from 577 patients at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

Maternity

We use national surveys to find out about the experiences of people who receive care and treatment.

During the summer of 2015, a questionnaire was sent to all women who gave birth in February 2015 (and January 2015 at smaller trusts).

Responses were received from 159 patients at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

We use national surveys to find out about the experience of patients when receiving care and treatment from healthcare organisations. Between June and October 2011, a questionnaire was sent to patients who had recently attended an outpatient appointment for each NHS trust in England.

Responses were received from 438 patients at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
