Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

1.) The Registered Provider must undertake at Universal Care Agency Ltd, 18 Arran Close, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO6 3UD:
a) Audits on the risks associated with service user’s needs. These must identify whether a specific risk assessment and/or care plan is needed for the service users need and what control measures are needed to mitigate any risk(s).
b) Audits to ensure care plans and medicine records are accurate and reflective of service users current needs. This must identify whether there is sufficient detail for staff to support service users safely.
c) Audits to ensure infection prevention and control policies and procedures are in line with current legislation and guidance. This must include systems to ensure staff are following the policies and procedures.
2.) Following completion of the above monthly audits, the Registered Provider must produce a combined action plan stating each individual audit area, the date of the audit, the actions to be taken, the person responsible for the actions, how and when this will be monitored to ensure it has been completed. This report must be sent to the Care Quality Commission on the first Monday of each month following these conditions coming into effect.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must ensure that the regulated activity Personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of that activity at or from all locations.
